IPD has provided MEP/FP services on a number of projects for Rome Health since 2011. Expected to break ground in late 2023, Rome Health’s expanded surgical center will include three new additions totaling 21,200 SF, as well as 12,500 SF of renovations, with an estimated construction cost of $22,000,000. The project includes work in five major areas including a new surgical suite with (4) operating rooms and (2) class-2 procedure rooms, new ICU Suite with AII rooms, new central sterile processing facility, sterile supply, new surgical waiting, pre-post op suite, new main entrance/lobby and renovated surgical staff support areas. Infrastructure expansions included additional emergency generator, chiller and associated medical gas systems. The project also includes complex phasing, allowing the hospital to continue operations throughout construction. Design is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2023.
