IPD provided engineering services to support a 2017 $73.65M district-wide capital improvement project that made renovations and improvements to all four of the Central Valley School District’s current school buildings.

The project included flood mitigation, classroom and security upgrades, and a four-story addition including a new main entrance, enlarged cafeteria, media center, and auditorium at Jarvis Middle school; small additions at Barringer Road and Fisher Elementary Schools; and relocation of the cafeteria and district offices at Central Valley Academy (Highschool) to create in-house opportunities for meeting the state’s new Multiple Pathways to graduation initiative.

The engineering scope of work includes select HVAC upgrades including boiler and water heater replacement, select roof top unit replacement, select air handling unit replacement, select electrical panel upgrades
