This two-story Italian Renaissance-Revival house, built in 1910, on Syracuse’s westside has been used for commercial purposes since 1942 and has sat vacant for a number of years. IPD Engineering participated in a building condition survey on behalf of Pathfinder Bank to determine the viability of restoring the building and went on to provide MEP/FP and structural design services for this historic restoration, ensuring that the systems required and expected in modern builds didn’t interfere with the integrity of the building’s historical features.
